Our client is looking for a very bright, creative, and highly experienced Technical Architect who specializes in designing robust and scalable systems. They don’t mind which sector your have gained your experience in, as long as you can show experience of designing and implementing high performance architectures.

You will be:

* Designing significant enhancements to the existing product architecture.
* Analyzing the way in which the system will behave under future growth in data and traffic.
* Mentoring developers in scalability techniques.

You will have:

* Robust and extensive multi-threaded programming experience using C++ (Boost & STL), and possibly other object orientated languages such as Java.
* Ability to architect solutions to complex problems from basic requirements.
* Knowledge of UNIX socket programming and Internet networking protocols.
* Some experience of MySQL replication in distributed applications.
