This leading company produces highly innovative technology solutions for blue chip clients worldwide. With continued growth in the development of high precision machines and devices they seek a highly capable Industrial Design Consultant with proven leadership skills and a track record of making an impact through championing new ideas. You will help shape and visualise new technology and product opportunities working across multi-disciplinary teams whilst taking an active role in developing new business, building client relationships and providing strategic input and leadership to the role of design at our client.

You must have at least a 2.1 (Hons) from a top university (and therefore top A level grades too) in Industrial Design, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with extensive industrial experience of applying industrial design throughout the product development process. You will be highly efficient in 3D CAD (Pro-E or SolidWorks) and be able to devise innovative mechanical solutions for complex problems, have good knowledge of manufacturing processes and have solid experience of the entire industrial design process.

Your communication skills will be excellent across all levels of an organisation and you will enjoy the commercial aspects of a role.
