· Analysis and development of system architectures
· Detailed design of mechanical and fluidic components and systems
· Working closely with our clients, other engineers and technicians to implement detailed design solutions
· Specifying, designing and executing experimental programmes with teams of engineers, scientists and technicians
· Developing and building proof-of-concept prototypes
· Delivering technical reports and producing high quality design documentation
· An excellent first degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
· Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, with key strengths in mechanisms design, thermal management and fluidics
· Some post-graduate experience of challenging engineering projects from concept to delivery (either relevant post-graduate degree or commercial development)
