Leading a small multi-disciplinary team, Instrumentation / Sensors

This is a great role with a friendly, progressive company who have developed a range of innovative instrumentation products based on proprietary technologies - developed in-house by their R&D group.

A small and successful company (30 strong) they offer a great working environment & a caring, people-oriented culture.

With continued success, they now seek an enthusiastic Development Manager to lead their multidisciplinary (electronic, software, mechanical) R&D operation, to manage the development department and to create and execute R&D plans.

You will play an active role: evolving the organizational structures, boosting productivity, participating in strategic planning and developing product strategy.

In addition to your managerial responsibilities, you will also make use of your relevant technical abilities to contribute to R&D projects according to your particular field of expertise.

With a good degree in a relevant subject (e.g. mechanical, electronics, software, physics) you should have wide-ranging experience of the management of R&D projects and small teams - along with (ideally) some knowledge of scientific instrument design.

In addition to a competitive salary, the role also carries a comprehensive benefits package.
