Summary: High calibre, experienced Mechanical Engineer sought by growing consultancy, Cambridge, to £60k This growing consultancy seeks a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to work as a consultant on a wide range of projects in microfluidics, optics, micro-mechanical devices and products such as medical diagnostics, fuel cells, displays and sensors, for a range of markets from healthcare to consumer products. You will have excellent mechanical engineering skills to lead demanding development projects and build new business to join their team. You will have first class technical and communication skills, experience at leading large multidisciplinary projects and an interest in and aptitude for developing business. You must have 1st or 2.1 degree from leading institute; a track record of commercialising complex mechanical systems or technology in an industrial setting and delivering technology-based projects against challenging timelines and product requirements; excellent market awareness and capability to develop new market opportunities for technology; and very good communication and team skills including leading multi-disciplinary science and engineering teams.
