This multidisciplinary team provide innovative technology tools used in life science R&D. They design and develop platforms for biological diagnostics and / or process automation as well as cutting edge advances in bioprocesses and bio-printing.

They are currently recruiting for a Physicist to join them and provide technical insight and hands-on knowhow into applied areas involving complex instrumentation development for biological applications.

Requirements:

  • 1st / 2.1 in Physics from a top rated university, as well as a PhD (or possible post-graduate) research experience relating to biological molecules / cells.
  • Technical understanding of control / hardware / instrumentation systems involving fluidics, optics or high-speed signal processing.
  • Knowledge of electronics or associated software would be desirable.

This role fits an up-and-coming star – a physicist engineer who would be happy in either camp, and who has further interests in applied biology. On offer are the opportunities for project leadership and taking project ownership. In return, an excellent remunerations package is on offer.
