Within the Cambridge office of this major technology innovator, the highly motivated individual will significantly contribute to the development of digital signal processing hardware on chips. Working alongside and collaborating effectively with other technical team members, the Principal Engineer is required to design and simulate signal processing algorithms using Matlab, implement signal processing algorithms in Verilog RTL and perform maintenance of DSP digital designs including defect investigation.
With good academics, at least degree qualified in Electronic Engineering (MSc or PhD considered highly desirable), you will have significant commercial experience in the implementation of DSP algorithms and RTL design and verification. Previous experience in FPGA emulation would be an advantage, although not required.
