Summary: Project Manager, responsible for multidisciplinary engineering teams, Royston, to £35k + good pension, and other excellent benefits. Projects range from relatively small standard projects that deliver products to customers, through to large, complex product development projects. All projects in the company are managed by their dedicated team of projects managers. This role is to lead projects which deliver “standard” products to customers. Though these are standard product deliveries, every project has its own special demands – perhaps a small amount of engineering development or a unique customer situation. The role is responsible for all stages of the project and for meeting budget, schedule and quality requirements. As Project Manager you must have a proven track record in Project Management on complex, varying projects; being able to demonstrate a successful record in managing multiple large value projects, including interactions with multi-disciplinary teams (preferably in the automation field); have experience of customer handling and contract variation negotiation; and ideally fluent in Microsoft Project. As well as this experience the Project Manager will have a good standard of education or, alternatively, a qualification in Project Management. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with some experience to develop their project management skills.
