Leading semiconductor company seeks a Senior Engineer to take technical leadership of Process Design Kit (PDK) development to align with foundry technology. Cambridge, to £45k + Excellent Bens. As Senior PDK Engineer, you will lead, manage, and evaluate the development of PDK tools by third parties for in-house design requirements including EDA modules and toolsets. This will include the development of working relationships with key vendors, foundry and EDA providers; and contribute to PDK strategy and planning. Further responsibilities will include managing student internship programs for advanced process technologies; managing associated training activities; and participating in recruitment processes. Candidate requirements: You will be degree educated (in Electronics, Device Physics, Computer Science or similar field) or have held a similar role in a semiconductor company. You will further have proven experience in technical project management to develop PDK components (SPICE, verification decks, p-cell library) for analogue/RF product design; knowledge of advanced CMOS technology (90nm and beyond), design flow, and EDA/CAD tools (eg: Cadence and Mentor). Experience of NPI, or technology transfer (from fab to technology development to manufacturing) would be advantageous. Although this role is being recruited for the Cambridge site, applicants who would prefer to be based at offices in the South of France would be considered.
