SDK Documentation, C, C++, Java, APIs, Linux, Android, Growing Company

This is a great opportunity for a bright, self-motivated Software Technical Author to join an innovative high-tech company based in central Cambridge. You will join a talented team in this growing and profitable company involved in the design and development of software products for key industry sectors.

With a rapidly expanding portfolio of applications, SDKs and solutions, they now seek a talented Software Technical Author. You will be responsible for authoring developer guides and API reference documentation, creating code samples and improving the quality of the SDKs.

You will need excellent communication skills in order to gather the information the customer requires from a variety of sources, and empathy for software end users that enables you to write problem-solving documentation. You must have an acute eye for detail and a passion for consistency and quality.

Although experience of documenting C, C++, or Java APIs - or SDK documentation in general - is highly desirable, for this role our client will consider tech authors who would like to write in a highly technical environment, or recent graduates with a keen interest in cutting-edge technology and communication.

This is a rare opportunity to join a successful, growing company with a recognised global brand and huge potential and vision. You will be compensated with a very attractive package including a competitive salary and generous benefits including contributory pension and private healthcare.
