Are you looking for that next career step, from Engineering Team Lead to Project Manager (or possibly have taken that step and looking for a new challenge)? Have you worked on product development projects and know how to lead and manage a technical team?

Our client is an established technical company, developing products used in a variety of industries and markets. They are actively expanding in several areas of their business and are keen to appoint a technical Project Manager with a wireless communications background. Specifically, comms projects have been in internet-based devices, automotive and healthcare applications.

Requirements:

  • 1st / 2.1 in engineering or similar from a top ranked university (good academic achievement is expected).
  • Experience leading a small technical software team (3-10 people) and managing small-medium sized software projects.
  • Exposure to coordinating and building teams and natural empathy and understanding to deliver projects.
  • Past technical experience with software engineering in a variety of languages (C / C++, Embedded, Linux, Python, Databases) and protocols (WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee).

The role is well-suited for an engineer with strong aspirations to pursue a formal Project Manager career. The company will support your career and compensate you with an excellent remuneration package.
