New figures from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (Hesa) show a higher proportion of UK university students being awarded Firsts and Upper Second honours degrees. Last year 64% of students were awarded a 1st or 2.1 (compared with 60% in 2007). During last year, ecm found that fully 72% of our placed candides had acheived a 1st or 2.1 - typically from a top UK university. Tags: graduatenews
