Software Engineer - Parallel Computing (019350)

Software Engineer, OO, Java, C++, Cambridge, to £45k + Benefits.

Our client is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join their Parallel Computing team.

This will require excellent object-orientated design and programming skills, strong inter-personal and communication skills.

Qualifications Required / Preferred:

• PhD or equivalent in Maths, Physics, Engineering or Computer Science (will be from a premier university).
• Good OO skills in Java / C++
• Either experience with several OS’s (Linux, Windows, MacOSX) or experience in distributed systems
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience writing job or task schedulers
• Background in Distributed Systems
• MATLAB
• Cross-platform experience
• Experience with RMI & JINI
