<p>Product development project work may include:</p>
<p>· system or component design and specification<br />· analysis/modelling<br />· material selection<br />· prototyping<br />· 3D CAD and 2D drawings<br />· hands-on experimentation and lab testing<br />· working with suppliers<br />· design for manufacture<br />· planning and reporting</p>
<p>Support of products in production, including:</p>
<p>· new product introduction<br />· resolving quality issues<br />· verifying changes</p>
<p>Degree educated you will have strong mechanical design skills with systems based background and Pro Engineer. This is a challenging role for the right candidate and is an immediate requirement.</p>

<p>This leading company develops innovative digital instrumentation and seeks a high calibre Development / Systems Engineer to work on the design, development, and test of current and future products. This is a hands-on position that will involve you in all aspects of design, assembly and testing of digital printing systems. Your job will be to conceptualise, design, implement and validate subsystems and systems solutions to enable the company to produce and deliver quality products to the digital colour printing market.</p>
<p>The Development / Systems Engineer will have:</p>
<p>· In-depth experience working as a development engineer within a New Product Development and Introduction team;<br />· A 1st or 2.1 minimum, degree in Mechanical, Production, Electronic, Materials or equivalent engineering discipline;<br />· Expert knowledge in CAD tool, preferably with Solids Works; and<br />· Strong knowledge and experience in ink jet ink system and printhead integration development.</p>
