Have you read JavaScript – The Good Parts? A hot new Cambridge startup is developing a modern client side HTML5 Canvas / JavaScript toolkit for visualising data networks. They’ve some pretty sweet technology and are making a serious impression in a number of high-profile markets.

Do you:

  • Know JavaScript like the back of your hand?
  • Understand how to build high quality, reliable JavaScript tools for other developers like yourself?
  • Know the difference between web development, and development for the web?
  • Like a challenge?

With these guys you’ll be working in a fast paced, test driven, Agile-style environment (in the our plan is flexible sense, not the we have no plan sense) and you’ll be a critical part of a small, focused team of JavaScript devs.

You’ll need to have already made the transition to hardcore JavaScript (no JavaScript helper libraries for you – you may well know JQuery, Prototype et al but you can write beautiful JavaScript without such crutches) and you’ll have some commercial or serious open source experience with JavaScript as well as some beautiful JavaScript code to show for it.

In exchange for your brain, you’ll receive a very competitive salary and there’s a wide range of benefits on the cards too.

If this sounds like you, please do drop us a line – or recommend a JavaScript savvy friend for £250, see http://ecmselection.co.uk/tell-a-friend for details.
