This growing high technology company specialises in the development of innovative technology solutions for blue-chip clients. The company’s medical devices group seeks a talented, insightful and ambitious graduate mechanical engineer to join the growing team. The successful candidate will develop new medical devices by drawing on their engineering insight, analysis, creativity, initiative and drive. You will take ownership of and responsibility for client requirements by responding to detailed technical challenges and selecting the most appropriate solution.

Working as a team, your approach, reliability and dedication will enable you to effectively integrate with teams of engineers, designers and physicists inside the company.

The requirements are:-
– 1st or 2.1 from a leading university (i.e. top A level grades too) in Mechanical Engineering or closely-related discipline;
– strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including analytical and theoretical capabilities;
– excellent experimental ability;
– a demonstrable creative and innovative streak.

You will also have strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; project, work placement or research experience that demonstrates a drive to succeed with a high standard of performance, and a desire to develop new skills, improve the quality of your work and to take increasing responsibilities.
