This exciting role calls for an ambitious and experienced hands-on software technical / team lead who will flourish in a dynamic and stimulating software development environment. You will work alongside some of the best development engineers in the business, within a real "techie" environment. It is a fun place to work, with challenging and interesting projects.

This is a senior and highly technical role. As technical team lead, you will take responsibility for the technical direction of the software, managing a team of developers, helping mentor more junior developers and ensuring consistency and quality in the code base. You will also maintain some level of contribution as a hands-on developer.

The role calls for an impressive academic record (ideally PhD / 1st, 2:1 from well ranked university) along with extensive commercial software experience and a successful track record in the development of high quality technical software.

Your technical skills should include many / most of the following areas: coding in C under Linux (or similar), C++, Python, networking protocols (including security), Ethernet & TCP/IP, high performance analytics, embedded systems - ideally with knowledge of system software and device drivers, enterprise software, server system architectures, databases, storage technologies and distributed systems, hardware / software co-design, software practices and tools – scrum, TDD, CI, release management etc.

This is a superb career development opportunity with an innovative, successful company.
