Our client is seeking an exceptional UI Developer with a passion for creating amazing games. Cambridge. To £30k.

A well-known games developer is looking for a UI Developer to create fun, easy-to-use in-game interfaces for some of their exciting new titles. Taking an active part in the design process, you’ll produce code that will impact games players across the globe.

As a visually orientated coder, you will enjoy working closely with UI and games designers to produce rich interfaces. Your portfolio will be broad, and also includes extending existing UI framework (Flash/Flex, Kendo, for example).

With a good degree, you will have two or more years’ experience in a programming role. Knowledge of Flash and ActionScript is essential, and you will know how to manipulate animations in Adobe’s Flash Player.

Other skills that will benefit your application include:

  • Good knowledge of the tools pipeline for asset creation (primarily Adobe CS).
  • Experience using Scaleform.
  • Lua language experience.
  • Familiarity with 3D transformations.
  • Awareness of how 3D graphics are rendered.
  • Experience working on mobile platforms.
