You’ll have a solid understanding of electrical, mechanical and process engineering principles and the relevant product development experience with a hands-on approach to solving problems; in-depth understanding of how to ensure the efficient operation of a manufacturing facility; and the confidence to stand your ground where there is a quality issue. You’ll have good personal communication skills to deal with both suppliers and customers. Above all your key technical strength will be CAD work for either mechanical and/or PCB design.

Background required:

  • Proven experience in manufacturing processes and transferring new products into production
  • Mechanical or Engineering degree (1st or 2.1 from a top university)
  • Complex systems comprising electronics, software, mechanics and optics
