Biomedical research is at the forefront of science with the advent of commercial gene therapies and consumer products for molecular medicine. Central to the latest advances is a multi-disciplinary approach whereby biochemistry meets experimental physics and is coupled with engineering and data science. Our client is quietly building a world-class team to commercialise current scientific initiatives and translating these into practical, applied solutions.
They are currently looking to expand this team and are looking for a bright, highly capable scientific technologist to take a leading role on their projects – providing technical understanding as well as a good appreciation of commercialisation.

- Research background with subsequent applied experience in life science tools / applications development.
Project / work experience:
- Understanding of industrial science applications including IP and commercial trends.
- Broad understanding through first-hand experience with advanced biomedical / molecular techniques including NGS, CRISPR, and microarray diagnostics. Exposure to stem cells, novel biomaterials or other systems biology technologies would be desirable.
