(2017 Graduate / Masters) Bioinformatician (23534)

We’re recruiting for a graduate / masters level Bioinformatics Scientist to join our client, and in this role, take responsibility in the analysis and understanding of high volumes of genetic data and write prototype code tools.
- 1st / 2.1 or masters degree in computer science or bioinformatics (ideally some project experience with genetic data analysis).
- Experience writing prototype code with Python in a Linux environment. Exposure to Perl would be advantageous.
- Further experience with high-performance computing, relational databases, and / or version control would be desirable.
- Relevant internship experience would be beneficial.
