Quant Analyst: Network Business and Strategy (23537)

South Cambridgeshire
to £70k + top bens (DoE)

1st/2.1, telecoms, network, business, strategy, numerate, quant, analysis

This innovative technology company has been the brains behind numerous new products and infrastructure improvements across telecommunications and networking platforms in all corners of the world. Their work has delivered high-speed data connections to remote communities, provided secure communications platforms for peacekeeping forces in hostile environments, and helped governments roll-out the newest 4G technologies across entire countries and continents.

They now have an opening for a Quant Analyst to join their world-class team based just outside Cambridge. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the development and roll-out of new network infrastructure; manage delivery and operations of new network services; develop business strategies to help clients expand their portfolios; and optimise client business processes to achieve savings and efficiency.

Only candidates with closely matching skill sets can be considered for this position, and your CV must demonstrate the following experience and attributes:

  • a strong academic background with at least a 2.1 Hons in a numerate subject from a top Russell Group university (good A-level grades too);
  • commercial experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering / consultancy teams with successful delivery of large-scale complex projects;
  • project management / planning responsibilities, working with commercial clients (including senior executives);
  • excellent communication and presentation skills, evidenced with a succinct CV and targeted cover letter.

Your CV should focus on the technologies you have helped develop and introduce, your own personal contributions to technical projects, and the numerate skills you have employed in successful projects. CVs enumerating only the monetary values of contracts awarded, number of direct reports for a position you held or listing dry ‘percentage-growth’ figures without any technical context are not likely to gain much traction.

On offer for the successful candidate is a stimulating and engaging work environment, working with bright, like-minded people in modern and comfortable facilities easily reached by road or public transport. An excellent salary and benefits package rounds off what is on offer to candidates that can meet this company’s demanding brief. Get in touch to find out more!
