Embedded Software Developer - control systems (23589)
Our client comprises a focused team of technical experts currently at an exciting stage of the company’s development. They seek an embedded software and electronics engineer with technical breadth and expertise who can take an active hand in the development of their second-generation product from concept through to manufacture.
The product has applications in a variety of areas, making a contribution towards people’s health and comfort. The client has ambitious plans to expand into other areas and work alongside new customers to develop disruptive new products.
The requirements are:-
- 1st or 2.1 degree from a well-ranked university in electronics, software or similar discipline
- Good knowledge of embedded firmware development in C, with a strong grasp of software / hardware interfaces
- Appreciation of electronic circuit design
- Some understanding of PLCs
- A strong team-working ethic
In addition, a knowledge of C# would be of interest; this is used for software diagnostics.
