This company is a leading manufacturer of specialist scientific equipment used in life sciences worldwide. Their products automate high-precision tasks in sample handling and analysis, accelerating research in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or medical treatments.

Expanding their successful product range, they are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team based just south of Cambridge. Candidates will need to have experience in the development and analysis of new products and systems for high-precision environments, working with small tolerances and complex moving parts.

Candidate CVs must show:

  • an excellent academic foundation, with a 2.1 or higher in Mechanical Engineering from a top Russell Group university;
  • experience developing components and products for manufacture (ideally compression / injection moulded plastics or similar);
  • mechanical system development of moving parts and assemblies;
  • integration of electronics, hardware or optics components into designs.
