Software Developer: Cloud / Mobile (23672)
Are you a committed software developer, know your way around more than one framework or technology stack, and have experience developing cloud-based or mobile applications? A pioneering Cambridge technology firm has an exciting opportunity to join their dev team. Working on intuitive data processing and visualisation platforms, their tech has transformed the use of real-time data in decision making, finding widespread acclaim particularly in motorsports.
They’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- expertise in more than one technology stack, and fluency in more than one modern coding language (Java, C#, C++, Python);
- a sound understanding of web technologies, from basic HTML/CSS, to JavaScript frameworks or databases;
- commercial success developing intuitive and functional interfaces, either for mobile applications or cloud/web-based interfaces;
- large-scale data analytics (e.g. Hadoop, Spark or Hive with a SQL or NoSQL backend);
- a sound technical understanding of the above, underpinned by a strong academic record – ideally a 2.1 or above in Computer Science (or similar) from a top-ranking university.
Successful candidates will be developing new technologies that will play a key part in some of the most publicised and high-profile sporting events worldwide. Your code will be rubbing shoulders with the likes of F1 superstars or Olympic medal winners. On top of this, a strong remuneration and benefits package in bespoke and modern office environment rounds off this excellent opportunity.
