Consultant Scientist - Life Sciences (23712)

This leading technical consultancy tackles applied projects across several technology and scientific areas. Their life science team provides robust innovations to facilitate the development of medical devices, drug delivery solutions and pharma applications. The team is recruiting for a Senior Consultant to join them. In this role, the Consultant would be at the interface between client scientists and engineering teams. They will provide direction to manage lab, literature and user based investigations and drive the innovation process under strict scientific rigour.

Requirements:

• Strong academic background (1st or 2.1 in life sciences or pharmaceutical related subject; possibly a PhD holder).
• Highly relevant commercial experience within the life sciences as a consultant in areas such as: clinical diagnostics; biosensors; drug delivery; biomaterials; regenerative medicine; tissue engineering; or orthopaedics. (We are looking for breadth and depth of technical project experience.)
• Broad experience with construction of relevant questionnaires, presentations and regulatory documentation for medical applications.

Please note this is not a research role. We are looking for existing experience with biopharma / diagnostics or medical device industries; and experience of associated regulatory processes.
