Senior C++ Developer (23745)

This is an involving C++ application development role working on scientific/engineering software. It integrates with industrial-strength packages used to design the latest in high-value, high-tech products. A friendly company with local roots, in the heart of Cambridge, using the latest Windows tools and technologies, and practicing pragmatic Agile methods.

You will bring:

  • Strong commercial experience of C++ including Boost and (naturally) the STL
  • A Windows and/or Linux background, x86(-64)
  • A good technical degree and a practical knowledge of computer science: structures, efficiency and concurrency
  • An understanding of inter-process and internet communications: technologies you’ve used might include WSDL, REST, SOAP or even COM / DCOM, over HTTP or TCP/IP.

You will be interested in application development, and will have the chance to work C# / Python / Java code also, if you’d like to. They use VS 2017, Boost, GitHub and Jira.
