This start-up company is developing novel and cutting edge technology to be used in a range of application areas, from providing micro fuel cells for travellers to relief from sleep apnoea. The products genuinely contribute to people's welfare. The company is well-backed by an established successful technology company with robust long-term investment.

This role is for an experimental physicist to develop next generation design. This will include the design and build of experimental rigs, execution of experiments and subsequent results analysis and computational modelling. A strong academic background is required in order to use your deep understanding of physics principles to inform development.

As part of a start-up company, you will have the chance to get involved at all stages of the concept generation, design, development and transfer to production.

You must have at least a 1st or 2.1 master's degree in Physics from a well-ranked university (i.e. As/A*s at A level) with either a relevant PhD or commercial work experience. You will be technically excellent with strong experimental and analytical physics skills. Of particular interest would be knowledge in mechanics, fluidics and acoustics.

A strong team-working ethic is required; as a small company, the cohesive nature of the team is key.

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your experience in a dynamic development environment.
