Processing and analysing gigabytes of data in real time, this company has built an enviable reputation for being one of the leading London companies specialising in algorithmic trading. In an environment where advantages are measured in tenths of a millisecond, efficient data architecture and low-latency coding is crucial to success. Their specialist team now has an opening for a software engineer familiar with aspects of data processing, automation and visualisation to keep them at the front of the field.

Candidate CVs will need to demonstrate:

  • an excellent appreciation of software and data architectures, efficiency and optimisation;

  • experience developing tools across a data stack, from back-end database, to tying into external APIs, UI development (JavaScript/TypeScript), and real-time processing and clean-up tools.

Further experience of modern dev practices (TDD, Agile, continuous delivery and source control) and working with distributed or parallelised code will be a distinct advantage. Candidates from a broad-range of backgrounds are encouraged to apply: this may include finance, but could include high-data experimental scientists, complex systems modellers or sport technology providers to name a few.

Successful candidates will enjoy a superlative remuneration package, working in an excellent central-London location, easily commutable by public transport. With plenty of on-site perks and amenities, a collaborative environment working alongside similarly-minded developers, this is not an opportunity to be missed. Apply now to find out more!
