This company has been an established technical pioneer in science and engineering for quite some time. Their employees contribute to advances in fields as diverse as medical technologies, industrial processes, biotech development, consumer products or autonomous vehicles. Over the past few years they’ve pioneered the application of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence to gain new insights into these challenging problems and are now seeking to grow their team.

Candidates with a broad range of experiences will be considered, but as a baseline your CV must show:

• a strong academic background, with a 2.1 or above in a numerate subject from a “top-10” university, and good A-level grades too;
• evidence of applying modern data science techniques to expansive data sets or unusual / unstructured information;
• familiarity with at least two industry-standard languages such as Python, Java, Scala or R;
• application of analytical / machine learning “big data” platforms like Spark, Hadoop, Azure or TensorFlow.
  Additional familiarity with data visualisation toolsets, computer vision and image processing, or database searching / management environments and languages will be a welcome bonus.
