Principal Software Engineer (23900)

This highly innovative technology company specialises in developing core software products for a wide range of real-time solutions within the automotive area. The Principal Software Developer will be involved in developing core products, supporting the business development, gathering requirements from the market and steering the product development. As the Principal Software Developer, you will be differentiated by significant experience and extensive knowledge in at least one technical field. You will be able to work independently and to a superior standard whilst also able to mentor less experienced colleagues.

You must have a good degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline from a reputable institution; excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills; strong communication and presentation skills; solid commercial experience as a software engineer; good understanding of the software lifecycle; good knowledge of at least one relevant programming language such as C++, Java, C#; an appreciation of real-time or performance constraints; the ability to analyse complex or imprecisely-specified customer requirements; and strong programming skills and a strong team orientation.
