Software Project Manager (23901)

This highly innovative group of an international technology company specialises in the development of safe and secure embedded software for real-time automotive solutions. This key role is for a Project Manager to manage software projects developing tools and applications targeting embedded automotive applications. You may also work with senior consultants on projects to fulfill specific customer requirements. You will plan and monitor software development activities to meet customers’ needs; report on progress and difficulties encountered to senior management, the product manager and to customers; anticipate and mitigate project risks ; liaise with technical authorities on technical questions; and coordinate development activities with manager of related projects.

With at least a 2.1 Hons in an engineering discipline you will have several years’ experience in software project management with experience in automotive or embedded SW project management; knowledge of quality management processes for the software development lifecycle; and knowledge of MISRA coding guidelines and static analysis tools (PC-LINT, Klocwork, QA-C). You must be willing to travel and support UK and overseas business units and have a strong technical and customer focus.
