Do you enjoy working on technical software problems? Are you interested in supporting customers? Are you currently looking for a new career path or to further your present career as a Customer Support Engineer?

Our client is a progressive, forward thinking software company based in the heart of Cambridge, UK. They have seen considerable update of their products and are currently expanding significantly in German speaking territories. To help support further growth, they are looking for a bilingual German / English speaker to join their Engineering Support team. The team are the technical point of contact for tier1 clients, and they cover all aspects from support issues, training customers, proof-of-concept and overall championing product features.


  • Fluency in German and English (both spoken and written). Further knowledge of other European languages would be beneficial.
  • Commercial experience in either a technical customer support role or IT management position.
  • Knowledge (not just use) of virtualisation tools and how they are implemented.
  • Experience with networking (ideally network security) technologies.

Interested applicants should show evidence of past projects on Enterprise software platforms and understanding how complex engineered software works. Degree qualifications would be desirable, but more important is evidence of your aptitude to pick up new technologies.

The company would ideally like someone to be based in their Cambridge offices, although for the right person, they would be prepared to consider (part) remote working. For the successful candidate you can expect to be well-remunerated, work with bright colleagues on challenging problems, in well-appointed offices in the centre of Cambridge (with car-parking spaces available, and close to public transport links).
