One of their exciting new technologies is a next-generation augmented-reality headset that will be a game-changer in technical diagnostics, engineering support and manufacturing worldwide.
They’re now seeking to recruit a number of Java developers to help them take their product from a polished proof-of-concept design to a scalable industry-ready product. To be considered for this role, your CV must demonstrate:
- a strong academic background, with a 2.1 in a relevant technical discipline from a top-ranked university;
- commercial / project development experience in Java, particularly for web-based applications;
- an understanding of modern SCRUM/Agile development practices, together with modern dev tools like version control, unit testing and similar;
- a strong awareness of effective UI (including use of HTML/CSS) in application development.
You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to code that will have a myriad of applications that until recently might have been the realm of sci-fi or fantasy. This might be interactive, multi-user AR training for engineers and technicians, remote diagnostic and troubleshooting interfaces, or real-time data and information feeds which integrate seamlessly with other wearable tech, mobile devices and smart cloud-enable machinery.
