This highly regarded, innovative company specialises in the development of electronic and software solutions for a growing number of high technology clients worldwide. This new role is to join a team developing high-performance boards which include digital and analogue electronics, FPGAs and software for microcontrollers. The team is small, so design activities will embrace the whole product, but specialise in digital systems.

The client will consider a range of experience, from recent graduates with relevant digital design experience, to Electronic Engineers with some experience of managing product development. Above all, the Engineer will be a proactive problem solver with a practical view over design decisions.

As well as completing design and development activities in the office, there is the opportunity to meet international customers to establish requirements and integrate products. Hence, travel to Europe, the USA and Asia may be expected.

The requirements are:-

  • A good degree (1st or 2.1 from a well-ranked university) in electronic engineering, physics or similar
  • Good understanding of digital design principles and experience with embedded software development in C
  • Ability to work within a small design team in close liaison with clients, displaying a collaborative and confident approach to work
