Software Team Leader / Mentor (24174)

This is a superb opportunity for a Senior C++ Software Engineer with extensive Software Development Lifecycle and Team Leading experience to head-up a small team in the design of a next-generation simulation graphics engine. In addition to relevant experience in 3D Games / Visual Effects environments (or similar) creating tool chains and pipelines for 3D experiences, you should have a passion for building software tools and content pipelines that make the engineers and teams around you more efficient and effective.

You will lead a small talented team of software developers / tools engineers, to provide strong technical direction & will support and develop the team, and collaborate with other project groups to define technical roadmaps.

With a proven academic record in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths or related field, you should have extensive fluency in C, C++, Python or similar gained within a commercial environment, along with solid team leadership experience. You should also have knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and current software engineering best practice and methodologies.
