Automation Test Engineer - Critical Systems (24196)

Stage 5 autonomy – that’s the goal for many teams around the world. This UK based technology company have brought together top researchers and engineers to tackle this problem. They are moving on from research to engineering robust software solutions using real world data, AI and computer vision. They are keen to recruit a Software Test Engineer to lead script development and automation processes.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in computer science, maths or physics.
• Extensive experience in software testing / automation of large scale software platforms which may involve embedded technologies or simulated environments.
• Commercial understanding of testing safety critical systems.
• Language proficiency and use should include Python for script development.
• Broad interest in technologies and wanting to work on pioneering innovations.

This is not your usual ISTQB role working on banking or business software – the technology the company works on will have a greater impact on everyday-life and needs to be future-proof. Code needs to be well-managed, and truly understand edge cases. Therefore, for the right person, as well as taking on a really interesting and challenging problem, they can have the opportunity to lead projects and manage.
