This life science instrumentation technology company is looking for an Engineering Physicist to join their multidisciplinary team. Projects are based on proprietary technology that is being used to underpin the development for new drug discovery. Are you interested in working on these complex problems, and build real-world applications?

Requirements:

  • You’ll be academically bright – have a 1st / 2.1 degree in applied physics or engineering from a top ranking university in the country.
  • Either a project based Masters or PhD based on complex instrumentation development OR industry experience building test rigs, or other complex electro-mechanical systems (which could include hardware sensor development).
  • Experience with 2 or more of the following: (1) optics; (2) fluidic systems; (3) electro-mechanical components.
  • Further experience with: LabVIEW; C/C++; MATLAB; microfluidic systems, sensors and actuators would be highly desirable.

Applicants should be natural problem solvers, keen to be hands-on and approach tasks methodically with strong attention to detail. In return, as well as working within a collaborative team, an excellent remunerations package is available.
