Front-End Developer - Complex Systems (24470)

Fantastic opportunity for a Front End Developer to work in an intellectually stimulating and challenging environment and contribute to tackling real-world problems with a tangible benefit to society.

The Front End Developer will work on our client’s flagship computer vision product, helping users to interpret large media collections and build Deep Learning based tools. You will also be interested in the back-end system, which involves state-of-the-art analysis of text/image/video as well as multi-sensor data fusion systems.

Our client is a small technical consultancy, working on a range of cutting-edge problems, mainly in the security and defence sector. Their complex systems call for novel approaches to algorithm design and software implementation.

You should have a good degree in a relevant technical subject from a top-ranked university; recent graduates as well as candidates with commercial experience would be of interest.

Our client is looking for candidates with good JavaScript and experience building user interfaces with React and/or Redux. In addition, you will have an eye for design and be able to work in close collaboration with software engineers to create excellent usability. The field of work means that UK security clearance will be required.
