Software Release Manager (24495)

Coordinate the deployment of major software releases of substantial products to high profile clients with this financial sector software company, in exchange for a highly competitive salary and benefits package.

Bring to bear your previous experience as an Agile software release or deployment manager, along with your detailed knowledge of issue tracking (JIRA), continuous integration (Jenkins) and source control (Git).

You’ll also need excellent communication skills, as your role will involve liaising with clients and QA to coordinate release timing and contents, and shepherding detailed release notes through so everyone knows what to expect. As client deployments progress you will monitor the situation, working to ensure smooth progress and escalating any issues as required.

You’ll be based at modern company offices just off the M25 on the London / Surrey border, working alongside colleagues in dev ops, development, QA and other disciplines.

Baseline educational requirements include a good degree, preferably in computing a related subject, from a reputable university. You’ll also need full existing permission to live and work in the UK without time limit, restriction or sponsorship.
