Algorithm Developer (24528)
Do you have a strong background in Maths or Physics? Do you enjoy designing creative algorithms to help solve challenging problems? Would you like to develop your experience of object-orientated coding? Can you “see” solutions where others cannot?
A company located in central Cambridge is looking for imaginative algorithm developers to join them in their quest to make Computer Aided Design and 3D modelling more accessible and intelligent. The role offers substantial technical and creative challenges due to its visual and spatial nature.
The small and friendly team of talented software engineers work collaboratively with colleagues based in the UK and internationally. They are looking for someone to join them who will enjoy being fully involved in all aspects of the design and implementation of new software projects.
An excellent academic record will be needed (2.1 / 1st in Maths, Physics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Science, Engineering or similar, with a PhD) as well as:
- Evidence of algorithm design
- Geometric modelling / CAD experience
- Some experience in C, C++ or similar.
Desirable experience might also include:
- Knowledge of software development processes, including design, coding and testing.
- Deeper knowledge and experience of any particular programming languages.
You must also have full permission to live and work in the UK without time limit, restriction or sponsorship.
