Instrumentation Engineer / Physicist (Hardware) (24546)
This scientific product company is looking for an Instrumentation Engineer / Physicist to join their dedicated engineering and physics teams to work on new designs, development and features of their dedicated instrumentation based products. Their USP is based on proprietary technology that can be used for the development for new drug discovery. Are you interested in working on these complex problems, and build real-world applications?
- You’ll be academically bright – have a 1st / 2.1 degree in applied physics or engineering from a top ranking university in the country.
- Either a project based Masters or PhD based on complex instrumentation development OR industry experience building test rigs, or other complex electro-mechanical systems (which could include hardware sensor development).
- Experience working within a R&D environment on electronic and mechanical systems (including use of CAD and PCB design software).
- Further experience with: microfluidic systems, sensors and actuators would be highly desirable.
Applicants should be natural problem solvers, keen to be hands-on and approach tasks methodically with strong attention to detail. In return, as well as working within a collaborative team, an excellent remunerations package is available.
