Technical Operations / Project / Support Manager (24550)

This is a great role for a talented Technical Operations Manager, Technical Project Manager or Technical Support Manager who can offer a solid understanding of Computing - particularly Networking / Distributed Systems / File Sharing via the Internet, and excellent communication and people skills.

Based in this international client’s Cambridge office (close to the railway station) you will work as part of a multi-cultural and dispersed software anti-piracy team of over 80 staff across 50 countries, with responsibility for a broad range of technical and project tasks including the ongoing configuration / control of systems and providing technical and systems support to a global team of staff.

You will analyse and suggest improvements to processes, performance dashboards and reporting tools. You will also develop and maintain product integration roadmaps with global Software Development and Technical Innovation teams.

In addition to a relevant technical degree, you should have proven abilities in Project Management and execution, along with a broad understanding of Office / Business applications such as MS Office, SAP and SalesForce. Any experience of business intelligence / data visualisation software such as Tableau or an awareness of AI and data processing tools (DataRobot, Alteryx) would be a definite advantage. As you may be required to perform customer software usage audits, previous experience of this would be a beneficial. You should also offer strong interpersonal and communication skills (including empathy to work in a multi-cultural, dispersed team) and excellent verbal and written English language skills. There will be some opportunity for overseas travel, but this will not be a major part of the role.
