Senior DevOps Engineer (24625)

This expanding company are applying advanced research in the real world; they seek an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Windows knowledge to form part of a new team, creating an automated infrastructure for the simulation teams. As part of this new venture, the Senior DevOps Engineer will take a leading role in providing input on the architecture and implementation of the infrastructure. The client runs a mixture of on-site and cloud infrastructure to configure and build automated pipelines for the simulation teams.

The successful Senior DevOps Engineer will have significant commercial experience, full and unrestricted right to work in the UK, and ideally with a good degree from a well-regarded university.

You will also be able to display experience in most of the following:

• Windows administration, including Active Directory
• Coding ability (any language)
• Infrastructure automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
• Virtualisation technologies including containers
• Continuous Integration and automation (Gitlab-CI, Jenkins)
• Logging and monitoring tools e.g. ElasticSearch
