Applied computational creativity, NLP and machine learning

This international company’s distributed team work on high-tech solutions to inspire their inventors, innovators and consultants, mining the sum of human invention to precipitate new solutions for their clients.

They are seeking a business-oriented expert in computational creativity, with a professional research background in this specific field – which may include relevant PhD, and will include published works – who is also practiced in commercial software development in NLP and machine learning, ideally in a startup environment. The right candidate would join their management team, taking ownership of this area and driving new development.

You will understand the challenges of knowledge extraction from large natural language datasets, and how to use NLP and machine learning to further the goals of computational creativity; and this will be an applied, business focused, software development focused, practical skill.

This position may be based in Cambridge or London in the UK, where the company already has skilled teams in place, or in their Swiss office. Full existing permission to live and work in your desired choice of these locations, without time limit, restriction or sponsorship, is required.
