It’s a rare company which places software usability front and centre, and considers usability on equal footing with functionality, time and cost. If you’re an experienced UX professional looking to move to Cambridge, UK, this may be the role for you.
You’d join a number of top class UX generalists and specialists, working closely with development teams across multiple projects. You will sit and work with developers, testers technical writers and have the full backing of project leads in collaborative efforts to build great software.
You’ll need to turn your hand to both desktop and web user experiences across multiple platforms and in a range of sectors, primarily focused on technical software for professionals rather than home users.
You’ll likely have studied usability, ergonomics or human factors, but your degree is not a primary here: you’ll need to be a usability person through and through, so it’s about what you know and how you can apply it, and your CV will reflect that. If this sounds like you, please do get in touch. A portfolio of your commercial UX work, highlighting your contribution, would also greatly assist your application.
