Process / Chemical Engineer - Research Bioreactors (23570)
This pioneering company develops machines which automate handling and processing of biological materials in research and industry. Their successful products help scientists accelerate their research whilst maintaining superlative accuracy and control of reaction volumes and eliminating cross-contamination.
Keen to further expand their product range, they are seeking Process or Chemical Engineers, with proven bioreactor R&D experience and top academic qualifications to join their world-class team.
Candidate CVs must show the following minimum experience:
- an outstanding academic record – top qualifications and ideally also a higher degree from a Russell Group (or equivalent) university;
- proven experience (academic and/or commercial) developing pilot-scale bioprocessing equipment including: CSTRs, fluidised / packed beds, bubble / airlift or photo reactors;
- excellent knowledge of aseptic laboratory techniques with either mammalian or microbial culture;
- familiarity with experimental design and analysis to evaluate reactor characteristics and performance.
