An innovative Cambridge-based developer of real-time graphics software is seeking a bright and enthusiastic C++ developer to work on their team developing the underlying skeletal animation technology for high speed 3D character animation. Working with a small, tight-knit team of bright highly-motivated peers, you will help to refine the performance of the engine and pipeline for producing slick, naturalistic character motion.

This is a highly sought-after and competitive industry - to successfully apply your CV will need to show:

  • A good degree in a suitably mathematical subject from a leading university.
  • Demonstrable ability in writing practical, low-level C++.
  • A thorough understanding of the theory and practice of real-time animation, including bone hierarchies, skinning, and a good level of familiarity with tools such a 3ds Max or Maya.
  • Significant experience in developing physics-driven skeletal animation software.

The successful candidate will join a growing and profitable independent company, working on the latest technologies. Projects offer a good deal of variety and challenge.
