Electronics and Embedded Engineer (24391)

Our client is an established technical consultancy based in Berkshire with good access to transport systems. Their projects have a nice diversity and tend to be hand-held electronics to larger table top equipment. Many recent projects have been medical device related.

You will have good qualifications, be credible in front of clients and be able to analyse and solve problems using a variety of approaches, from modelling and simulation, to prototyping and testing. It’s important to be able to show evidence of practical, hands-on skills.

Your responsibilities on the hardware side will typically include: electronic hardware concept development, detailed design, schematic entry, PCB layout, prototyping and transfer to manufacture as required for individual projects. Equally you will have good software experience, particularly embedded C but also higher level software. This position is open to a variety of experience from a few years to a very experienced engineer / consultant with developed client facing skills.
