Manual tester required for top networking company

This successful engineering company is an industry leader in high performance server room technology, relied upon by a wide range of high profile companies. As you would imagine, their code needs to be extremely robust and so the role of Manual Test Engineer is crucial to their success.

The role will involve managing test plans, configuring equipment and performing manual test, running (but not authoring) automated tests, failure analysis and reporting, fault diagnosis, and assisting software developers in isolating root causes.

To apply you will need:

  • A good degree in Computer Science or similarly applicable subject from a well-regarded university
  • Significant commercial experience of software test
  • A good understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Experience of working with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Full right to work in the UK
